Our product combined with your design can create a safer, more beautiful world.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the health risks associated with the virus, Concertex is striving to make products available to the A&D community that will help to create healthier, more cleanable interiors. Concertex has long been a producer of products with extreme durability to all types of use, including healthcare settings and other applications in which cleanliness is of the utmost importance.
Concertex has avoided the addition of antimicrobial additives to our products because of the risks to human health. However, we do offer a wide selection of products that are durable to cleaning and disinfection. The term “cleaning” according to the CDC, refers to the removal of germs, dirt and impurities from a surface. This can be done with many products that are readily available, including soap and water and other water-based cleaners. Please go to the Concertex website (concertex.com) to find appropriate cleaning methods for your product.
The term “disinfection” refers to the process of killing germs, causing them to be non-infectious. Disinfectants, while they do kill germs, should not be relied upon to clean surfaces, and should be applied only after proper cleaning. Application of disinfectants to surfaces without prior cleaning can allow germs to remain on the fabric with dirt and dust. One of the easiest and most effective ways to disinfect any of our bleach-cleanable products is to apply a bleach/water solution. Allow the solution to sit, then wipe away any remaining solution with a damp cloth. Please refer to the Concertex website (concertex.com) for detailed care and cleaning instructions for each product..
